Description

Gold Beach, Oregon Some of the grass bends a certain way, and some of it bends another way. The regular pattern of one bit set up a beat in my head and the other patterns started to sound like syncopated jazz. Just in case you wondered about the title. Never mind. :P

I see three waves here Tara, one of madness, one of the sea and the other of the grass and when put together you have a brilliant pic!

I love the (apparent) simplicity of the composition. And the mellow groove is great!

Very creative...turning an image into music. Leroy Anderson's 'The Syncopated Clock' is now ticking in my head:) So much from so little. Good job!

I see it too but I also like the grass on the right. Not content with a simple blade it is off doing its own thing (variations on a theme?). Superb composition.

Wonderful beach shot, but even more than the photo, what a great way to think about it!

I feel the beat! I like the simplicity of this - very graphic! Monochrome suits it well. Excellent capture and postwork, Tara!

It's interesting to read everybody's translation - I for one, can actually feel a warm Summers breeze just flowing through these murmuring/whistling grasses, laying there beside them, maybe even chewing on one - as one does (!) and listening to the endless syncopation of breaking waves. It's nice to dream, BB

Perhaps I'm too literal, but this makes me think of gulls calling... and fish & chips!
