still working on learning to texture models. My latest,not greatest in what I am sure will be a Looong list of attempts.

You're a great artist bleeding heart. And your accomplishments are legendary I'm very proud of your achievements. You tell by the look of your dreams nobility and charm of your labors haunts us. One thing I've noticed(and I tend to be this way) is that every thing is too symmetrical. Its a straight on shot, she's looking exactly straight, the light is coming straight on. One thing that has helped me is, move stuff around. Move the light over, up, whatever. Move her a little, eyes, head tilt etc. The textures themselves are looking good, and I love the hair. Move stuff around a little and see if this helps. Also, I like to try to express a certain emotion in their face, not just happy or sad, but maybe silly or fed up. Keep up the good work and trial and error is the best, have fun playing around. ;-)

I agree with b-vone the lighting for me on a portrait coming from the top left hand side and iron man has a wonderful pose set out which includes all different poses for the eyes i think she is wonderful and so far a really good job this is not an easy job i know i have done it and i gave up so hats off to you good luck my friend !!
