Description
Been doing renders of various things all week. Got some new toys and this is a result of playing around with them.
Rendered in poser with IDL Studio by Colm at RDNA. The texture is Alice by Aery Soul. The dress is Flapper by RPublishing and I found it quite easy to position. I used Ceridwen's Maxine for the character, though it's hard to tell from the angle.
The pose came from an image of a bronze statue depicting a flapper doing the Charleston. I went on a search of the web for images of flappers and the statue caught my eye. I may release the poses I make to free stuff later on.

Thanks for the comments! Yes! I was so hoping I could pull this pose off when I saw the statue. The feeling of movement and momentum was what I was aiming for.

Thanks so much for the comments and ratings. It's much appreciated! @ Anthanasius: It is empty because I've been working mainly on lighting and the IDL Studio has helped a lot with that. Plus, I didn't really have anything that I felt wouldn't detract from her. I wanted to get the Speakeasy, but need to curb my 3d spending a bit...LOL! I did try to put decorations around her in PSP, but my skills are still a bit rusty there, as it's been a while since I've done any artwork. And I liked this so much I wanted to post it! :D

This is a brilliant work of art you've created here. Movement is so difficult when you have to make it believable. You've made it happen and I don't know why you've got so few favourites for it. Definately one of my top 3 favourites of all time. Keep up the great work...:)))))
