JOURNAL ENTRY: Today we were all feeling discouraged, seeing no end to the vast fractal desert we are crossing at present. Then we stumbled upon this oasis (attached image). JoJo, our tactical combat specialist, a devout Christian (and our team's unofficial chaplain) dubbed it Fractal Paradise. Tamara, our exotic weapons expert, who is Jewish and a self-proclaimed "free spirit," tried to bait JoJo by announcing that she was thinking about skinny-dipping in the pond. JoJo's response made us all laugh and left Tamara speechless (which is no small miracle in itself!). He said, "Well, if your digital avatar's bottom is as cute as your real one, that should be a pleasant experience." After that, the two started acting differently around each other, casting clandestine glances back and forth when they thought no one was watching.
