Description

This is a reference to yesterdays post, it isn't one I'd consider picturesque. The shot is taken from the same spot as yesterdays post with my 105mm zoom(largest lens I have at the moment). The archway that the teepee overhangs has a darker opening below it seems. It has potential, what do you think? If it is a cave I would like to explore such given the Native American history of the area. Have never found caves in these formations and so I believe it worth a hike next time. Course I have been accused of hiking just about anywhere my legs will take me. :~) To the kind souls that leave their mark whether a comment, rating, or save the image as a fav, you are very much appreciated, thank you!!! Thank you all that viewed my last image below. thumb_2238063.jpg

Actually this is quite picturesque. The patterns and colors in the rocks are fantastic. It must look stunning at sunset. As for the 'cave', you have a lot more self control than I do. If I saw this I don't think there would be a 'next time'. I would have to find out what it was NOW!

definitely a long hike but to find out the truth , it may be worth it.would not be funny if you hiked there to find out the roadrunner painted a round black circle on the stone. I love seeing the red stone mountains and is a beautiful view

This is quite beautiful, especially on zoom where the rich colors and details show better. I love the shapes, lines, bits of green, and the shape that looks very much like a cave. Very intriguing and well worth a visit. Excellent capture!
