Description


While having dinner on the deck, saw this large flying bug bumping into the picture window. It finally landed and I was able to grab a couple of pictures. This one came out the best. My wife thought it was a hornet but those two spikes on it's abdoment seem to point to some kind of wood-boring insect. I found out what type of insect this is - its a Wood Wasp - Urocerus albicornis
