Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

They remind me of pearls for some reason. Home grown are the best. Good luck with your Internet withdrawal.

Let's call the whole thing off! Gorgeous color blends, lighting and composition, Marilyn! And, I suspect you're aware of the deaths by falling that have recently occurred in Yosemite.

All ready to toss into a nice fresh salad. Enjoy your trip out into the Yosemite area. Stay safe! Dana

Ooh, I love these! I've just inhaled a few...nice, succulent, summer tomatoes, the kind that are all messy when you bite into them. There's a particular joy that comes with tomatoes in the summer. They always smell so good and taste incredibly good too! And this shot captures that so perfectly! I love the yellowish ones; that promise you'll have some nice, juicy ones to eat next week too! Just sit 'em on the windowsill and do what you just did: take pictures of them...and then enjoy them. I love this shot, and I like your treatment of it. This rocks. Now, I'm hungry.
