Description
Earlier I posted a image of the head stone for Korvettenkapitan Henke. The old post cemetery contains graves of POWs, personnel who died during their service, their children, and wives. This is a spouse's resting place. The best I can make out is SADIE N. WIFE OF PVT (totally garbled)NOVEMBER (garbled).
Location: old post cemetery, Fort G.G. Meade, MD. Taken some time back with a camera phone.
Note the style of the descriptions on the stones as we look thru the little collection I have.
ISTR the oldest dates from about 1928 and the most recent interment from 1971.
