Description

Top rock Mesa is just visible along the left margin, now in shadow. Just right of that are north and south teepees, now partially in the sun. Just right of those teepees, center image is the West bench. The lower left is the right side of the prominent foreground formation in the last post. This image doesn't give one a good sense of the scale and so I have one in mind for next time, but it wasn't as colorful as this To the kind souls that leave their mark whether a comment, rating, or save the image as a fav, you are very much appreciated, thank you!!! Thank you all that viewed my last image below. thumb_2239228.jpg

This looks like God took some very wet clay and dribbled it through his hand. A superb capture of an absolutely fascinating landscape. I just realized that you've changed your screen name. If you look up the word 'doofus' in the dictionary you'll find my picture.

It's wonderful that with just a slight change of perspective, my eyes find different priorities. I notice the pile of miscellaneous parts in the bottom right corner, and Andrea's elders beyond them, but my eyes are drawn straight up the middle of the image to the triangle of green in the distance. I love the depth and lighting, and all the teepees scattered, in groups, on the landscape. Excellent shot!
