Description

This is one of hundreds of messages left on our local pier for Tess Kabbani*, a 'local student' who tragically took her own life several weeks ago. She hurled herself in front of a train at our local station. She was 13. *I wouldn't normally mention the girl's name, but it was front page news in Australia. Her family wanted to publicize the event in the hope of preventing other tragedies. A huge memorial was held on this pier, which can be seen in the attached video. HERE

Very sad, it makes you wonder what was troubling her to do this to herself. My sympathies to her relatives.

Isn't it appalling that children can reach this stage of despair undetected.

A tragedy. But I hope that her death is thought to cause, for it must have been a story before her death. They saw no other way out. Where were the people to help her?? She was 13. Thanks for sharing! (The video can not we see in Germany!)

so sad of what people think and others never note the dangers. I know; as my ex wife took a gun and shot herself where the heart is but the bullet hit a rib and the bullet followed the rib and out the back. never hit the heart, but I never noted the signs; it was a shock to me. I do see the signs now and people need to learn about the signs and hopeful can help the person who thinking of killing themselves.

Suicide forever affects those left behind. I've been touched by it as well. This image is both moving and stunning.
