Elephant, Characteristic red earth and mud from South Africa
Photo taken in the Elephant sanctuary located near the Hartbeespoort Dam,near Joburg South Africa, The elephants present are participating in a program of rehabilitation, and to bring them later, if possible, back to the wilderness.
In the sanctuary there is a “meet and greet” with the elephants, you can touch them and you learn an awful lot about these fantastic animals.
We made in May 2011 a trip through the southern part of Africa ( RSA, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Namibia) .
