a beautiful evocation of a harbor at night, with not only the beautiful golden hues of late day sun across the boats, but with the boat-lights casting an "inner glow" throughout the boats, as if they had sunlights of their own. The combination of the two makes a beautiful reflective image. (Reflective as in inward reflection & thought.) And near the center, you have a big blasting light reflected in the water along with a lightpole above it, making a wonderful focal point in a melange of lights & shadows. And the dark abyss of the water, at bottom, gives the image grounding; while the late-day blues of the water, above, are heavenly. And...it's all topped with a sheer late day sky.... Beautiful, simple & evocative work, Bill. Though it could take some time, both with the camera and in the 'digital darkroom', it feels like it was done in a moment of intuition, as it's whole, simple & quite poetic.
