Description
I found this strange creature hidden in the mud. We both had a fright at first, but later she cooperated as a model and we parted in peace.

Thank you. I just did a quick search and I think it is a "Acanthophrynus cocronatus" It is harmless but really ugly ... if you're not another Acanthophrynus :)I've seen it before only in "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire"

I love it when real life is stranger than science fiction: in this case, as odd as one of those "face huggers" so well-known within the "Alien" films. I love odd creatures and have yet to ever see anything like this particular, leggy beauty! I love the textures and the color and I'm really glad I'm not the one to have to make leg-warmers for this intriguing, little critter.
