Description
This is my neighbor. It belongs to the Quetzaltepec Volcano. (Quetzaltepec. From Nahuatl: mountain of the birds) also known as the Volcano of San Salvador. Its last eruption was in 1917.

I don't think I'd want the volcano for a neighbor thou he does look peaceful right now

Well, considering that my house is built on the edge of the crater of another extinct volcano (At least we hope), does not bother me much to live in proximity to it.

WOW! This is a view I don't get to see very often! I love that little volcanic cone; is it a smaller bit inside of the larger crater? Volcanoes are so odd that way, you look inside of their craters and you see all sorts of interesting things, including miniature volcano shapes like ant-mounds with indigestion. This is a superb shot and I love the greenery and the light. This is super!
