The moods of the city. Same view as the fog one .. yet so different. The lighting is what really grabs me, the "red sky in the moring", except of course it's not really red .. but was there a storm or rain that day? No, it's such a clear sky .. such wonderful tones ..

WOW! This is a WONDERFUL picture. I don't even know where to start, it's all so magnificent. The lighting, the reflections, the view of our beautiful skyline. I'm running out of superlatives here. This is a fantastic shot! All I can do is to say WOW again and keep staring at it. WOW!

Shots like this (and many of your others) make me want to try hard to be a morning person, even if it was just for long enough to breath this in and then go back to bed. I loved my trip to Chicago with Leslie. I hope to go back someday and if I do, I'm going to try to get up before dawn to bring in the morning, at least once. Gorgeous view! How marvelous to sit and watch the city come fully awake. (I don't guess it ever sleeps completely.) Like everyone else, (except maybe Andrea) :) I just want to stare and stare. Is the building on the far left the one that is kind of clover leaf shaped? I have pictures of it, if it is. I love the curve of the shore, the wonderful reflections, and the color and light. I love the lines of light in the water, and the painted shapes of the reflected buildings. The colors, soft purple sky, with buildings of dark blue and red, and gorgeous red and golden light, is superb! This is beautiful! I love it!

Reflecting on the reflections, the mountains of buildings, the stillness of the dawn - a city in quiescence, wiping the sleep from its eyes as it prepares for the daily hustle and bustle. Now the moment can stretch forever...
