My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

And I thought one needed Mandelbulb or some other fractal creator to get this kind of effect! ;-) Obviously, I was mistaken. Fantastic shot and POV!

Nice wave action. Your composition makes it difficult to determine what this is. And that let's the mind wander. Excellent work.

Beautifully captured Tara. The color is nice and rich like good leather. And I remember you were taking pictures of that locomotive from all possible angles!

I love the fact that this reminds me of something living; the mantle of some really delicate, flamboyantly designed, gorgeous deep-sea organism: or maybe the delicate, fluted edge of a shell, still inhabited by one of those cute, pinkish, bluish invertebrate people with garish yellow and mauve spots, and a beak: you know, something gorgeous, like that! I love the sweeping dips and rises, the smoothness and that nice, defined line in black. This is really quite soothing to look at and sink into.

For some reason, a Leonardo Da Vinci sketch of the concept for an early tank comes to mind. Overlapping wooden armor plates to deflect arrows and spears...:) This happens after reading most any Chipka comment;-) Yup, you can never miss with light and glass...ahhhh.
