The F-11F ''Tiger' was a single-seat carrier-based United States Navy fighter. It was flown by the U.S. Navy "Blue Angels' aerial demonstration team from 1957 to 1969.

Oh dear ... this is one of the photographs where all I can think of to say is, "Oh! It's blue and yellow! How pretty!" LOL! You shot it at a good angle, and it shows up nicely. Of course you know my eyes have glazed over ... :P

The Tiger was the most elegant jet the USN flew. I saw the Blue Angels flying this type at an air show whe I was a small boy!
