This picture is a portrait I did of the characters in my last picture, "Fun & Games," in case Donovan Morningfire wanted something simpler as a visual aid for his Star Wars RPG game. All the details are with that image at http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=2244310 To create the portrait, I removed most of the models other than the backdrop, Secret Garden Repose set & the 3 characters, Lady Z'Rissa Organa Solomani, Dr. Dantris Solomani & their grandson Tristin Antilles & posed them in the Repose seating area. (I'm sure my laptop was grateful for the reprieve. As I worked on "Fun & Games," it gave some pretty unsubtle hints that its RAM &/or graphics card were reaching their limits.) I then zeroed the translations and poses for the trio. Very handy that the seating area was where all the other models load. I then moved everyone around & re-posed them. I think I did a good job of expressing the affection these grandparents still share. Earlier tonight, Donovan regaled me with the game session where the player characters got to meet the family, plus a few other relatives. Sounded pretty exciting, including tracking down the Solomanis at a ball, trying to persuade the somewhat-reluctant ex-Jedi to jooin Master Luke's resistance, & an attempted assassination of Aldaraan's Crown Princess/Regent by cloned Dark Jedi. Things got even wilder the next day, when a "morally bankrupt Senator" and a Republic agent working for "Darth Leia" kidnap little Tristin & his young Aunt Marasiah, who had been working as 1 of the Princess' spies. Lady Z'Rissa nearly died defending her grandson & younger daughter, but Dantris' healing talents kept her alive. The heroes set out to rescue the young people & put a lot of well-deserved hurt on the kidnappers--both of which they did. In end, the heroes did recruit the 2 elder Jedi for Luke, since Aldaraan was not a good place for them to be any more. Dantris & Z'Rissa also brought along Tristin and their spy-girl daughter Marasiah. Donovan tell me Mara Solomani will be a recurring NPC, as she's going to ignore any parental lectures on "Spying Is A Stupid Idea." So it seems I'll be doing another pic for his game, maybe more.
