When I first saw this I thought: oooh, the green fairy, and then I remembered how much I really dislike absinth, and so I'm kinda glad this isn't that particular green fairy. I love this piece of work. It has a nicely haunting quality to it as well as a wonderful, mysterious sense. The colors work marvelously! I really like this immensely!

Gorgeous artwork, Dear Monica! Such an incredibly dramatic scene with such a great meaning and so much value! I love the lighting and the colours in this image. They blend so beautifully with one another! The green hair really works for her, as she is intertwined with this reptile who seems as though he is ready to protect her. From another standpoint, it almost seems as though she is one with the snake.. you allow this to happen, because your image is so well created... the realism is truly remarkable and yet such an incredible fantasy! Beautiful scene!!
