Description
My Nieghbor's steam tractor. Restored and fully functioning. There were several steam powered tractors out this week at our local Farmers and Threshermans Jubilee. I will be adding more details about the tractor later on as I upload photos for those who are interested.

Yes these engines cost tens of thousands too. I have some other engine pics to post when I get the time. I got the chance to operate this one today as well steer a Peerless engine. They do move slow but they are still pretty tricky to drive. With nerves like mine manuvering them around parked vehicles on both sides of the lane was alittle stressful. However I still really enjoyed it, and I'd have to say I'm hooked on steam. Someyear in the future I hope to own one of these beasts.

AWESOME Big Boy Toys.. Best part for a woman is to be around the boys when they have their Big Boy Toy's to play with. Most of the time it brings out the Mother in me. But If I got my foot run over by one then I Guarantee it will bring out the Mother in me and not the nurturing one :-) Great shot of a nice piece of History. I would love to see more. And would love to see some shots of your other work. You actually make chain mail? Like Knights and Maidens? Hoping to see your crafts. Connie
