Description
...this rooster rules the roost in a friend's garden...yes the same one that has the fancy sprinkler and Rubrum Lily posted in my gallery almost two weeks ago.
...he's been after me everyday (the rooster not our friend) for almost two weeks now to make him a star;-)
...used the on-camera flash since the sun was setting fast and all the chickens were in deep shade.

Oh, he looks so pleased with himself! I just saw Helle's painting of a rooster and a hen and her rooster looked so pleased with himself too! They're such showy birds and the colors on this are gorgeous! I like his rather fluffy pantaloons.
