Description

Greetings To All.... Here's another from my Seasonal Folder entitled "Harvests Last Light"..for your viewing pleasure...Hope you like it!.. Well we got our 1st seasonal frost last night and if that didn't kill the growing season here in Wisconsin then tonight's freeze will.....considering I don't think much will survive with a low of 29 degrees as the local weather guru has quoted..Oh well...I had a prosperous year in the garden with a bumper crop of veggies and my flowers this year were beautiful until these forsaken Japanese Beetles invaded and decided to munch their way through 3/4 of my morning glories/moon flowers and all my gorgeous Roses.....that really made me angry because at this point there is nothing you can do to get rid of the beetles once they establish a hold....The hard freeze tonight should do away with them but alas....the damage was done before...(sigh)...Would of loved to shown some pictures but my digital has issues...Oh well...there's always next year....so this concludes another year...where did the season go...Now I get to look forward to cold/snow and stuck in the house for the next 6 months...yippee yahoo...(being sarcastic)..... But there is a bright side....You get me for the next 6 months creating art for your viewing pleasure...(BIG GRIN!!)...lol... Hope this finds you all active and healthy... ~Will~ Created in Bryce 7 with post work in Adobe Elements 8 Various Items from archive3d.net Trees from tree lab Framing/lighting done in Elements 8

http://www.gardensalive.com/article.asp?ai=482 Some good Japanese Beetle (mostly organic) solutions. I hate the things, and traps definitely do attract more than they kill. I have the yearly summer battle here in Tennessee. Good thing is, they're gone in about six weeks.

Fantastic mood and colors. Really a great harvest-image! That's soon you have frost there, and don't talk about beetles which eaten so much ;-) We here also have a fox who has eaten our goos berries at night.

This is a fantastic fall image Will and I'm not that happy that winter is about to hit you hard. At least the Packers are looking good. Dana

You got this out of Bryce?! 0-0 Excellent lighting! I've had my share of issues with bryce and have gone to Vue, though that's one crash-happy program in itself. I put it in my respect for cararra users as well. Sometimes, with the right artist, any program can make stellar results!

Your way of using Bryce is pretty original - what a stunning atmosphere in this scene! It's like the sunlight is shining through all the dust that's floating in the air while those harvest machines do their job... :) Very cool effect! Vashek
