Hello friends everywhere! Thanks for your lots of comments for my last picture. With this pic here I will bring you back an early morning in Berlin and I hope I could catch this special atmosphere. This alley here is called "Unter den Linden" and is the finest boulevard Berlin can offer in the eyes of many Berlinians. The alley once connected the Emperors chateau in the east with the Brandenburg gate at the west. The chateau was damaged in WW II and would teared down by the communistic leaders in the early fifties. In opposite to the chateau was this statue of preussian king Friedrich II. The Great, shown here as a horseman. Friedrich II. is beloved by the Berlinians and others till today and is called "The Old Fritz" THe boulevard is normally very busy by day and at night. Here in the early morning is nearly- NOTHING. I couldn`t believe at the first moment. Pic was taken at 5th August 2011 at 6.10 A.M. in the morning. Hope you enjoy this pic and the Berlin impressions.
