Description
Well! It's still Sept 18th in Chicago, so it's still Bill & Tara's anniversary! This---my first abstract in ages---is for you, Tara & Bill, for your priceless friendship & for your priceless & precious marriage---started right here on Renderosity. It's the kind of marriage people say "can't happen," but it did. Allow me a little gushing: All of us who've made friends here know that an art-site can make wonderful friendships. But, every so often, those friendships bloom into romance, and ultimately marriage. Bill & Tara never knew this would happen: But they started talking, sharing more & more, opening more & more, and slowly merging their lives until, my god, all of a sudden they were madly in love, giving up tracts of their lives for each other, visiting & more visiting, and before any of us knew it, they were married. You read about these things---but this one actually happened! Those of us who've known them have seen how much they've shared, how they've traveled & kept-on loving each other wherever they went---I mean, they genuinely love being together, everyday---and how every new experience was a joy & discovery & how they've shared their photography & how gentle they've been together & how they've brought everyone they love right into the heart of their union---this is the stuff of books, people, and it's real & makes the rest of us believe that such things truly do happen. But the thing is, they just 'are': I mean, they don't announce it to the world, they don't talk about it all the time or bring it up in their galleries: They just give their love & share it naturally with others. Well, I don't know if this wild & flarey piece does service to you two, B & T (it's my first in a long time!); but you know me well enough to know it's from the heart. I tried to show one light turning into many, the light between you becoming many, and the light from you touching many; or, as the old saying goes, "the wings of a butterfly can effect the entire world..." A few flutters, and the world is filled with gentle breezes...

But tell us how you really feel, Mark. {;D Its been a year already? Time flies when you're in love. I visited them just a few days before they did the deed and now these two crazy kids are celebrating their paper anniversary. Your image is a wonderful gift. Let me add my congratulations to "B&T". May this be the first of many years they share with love and adventure.

I love this! The colors, the blending, the energy ... it's beautiful! Thank you so much, my dear friend. We're still having loads of fun, we both feel like we're getting away with something, and we regularly toast our good fortune. It's a blast! :D Your dedication is almost better than the artwork, if that's possible. Gushing is okay. I'd tell you I'm smiling graciously, but you know me better than that ... I'm grinning like an idiot! Thank you so much for your good wishes and your encouragement. Having friends like you enriches our experience together! I'm the luckiest woman in the world.

Holy Smoke Mark:-) This is a great treat for the eyes and your words say it like it is. Thanks a million for the anniversary dedi...you are indeed a top-o-the-heap guy. As for your render..., what a gorgeous abstract. I see beautiful satins and velvets as well as rings and things that defy description. One light turning into many goes right to the heart of where we are. I love your gushing a bit for us. Every couple needs a cheerleader/friend like you. Big hugs from us over-nighting in Butte, Montana enroute to Kansas. I'm the luckiest guy in the world.

This is a fantastic treat for the eyes and I saw it the moment it popped up here: Renderosity was up to odd tricks and so I couldn't comment when I wanted to. I love these sorts of images and you do them so well; they're so distinct and whenever I look at them, they never seem digital or at least never wholly digital; there's always something organic in the way they appeal to me. Sometimes it's like looking at flower petals, flames, or even crystals of some unlikely, liquid sort...however they appear at whatever times, they're always intriguing and always so rich. I love the way this reminds me of both something luminous and a flower unfolding...or maybe a star, blossoming: that's something that can only happen in a poetic sense, especially since "blossoming" stars are also unstable and really nasty when you're too close to them, but in a more figurative sense, they're the most apt, poetic things around. Funny how that works...a supernova blowing itself to vaporous smithereens can also be a "sun-flower" blossoming: it all depends on what the artist brings to it and what the artist inspires the viewer to see, and I love what you've brought forth. Your dedication is marvelous and moving, and it reminds me of so many of the things that have enriched my life. Ah, I'll always be a champion of the internet and Renderosity, because many of my best friends are here and I met them through this site. I get to see great art and interact with friends, two of whom are coming to Chicago soon...imagine that! One of the two coming to Chicago has already started talking about chicken with pomegranate sauce. And now that I mention it, I could do with some chicken and pomegranate sauce and that really nice dill rice. What strikes me the most about this image, this diptych, is the soothing intensity of it. Usually intensity is a bit on the searing, eye-stinging, nose-watering side, but this goes the opposite way and envelops the viewer/experiencer in comfort...and I love the flow of the whole thing. This is really a touching, stunning piece of work and a perfect dedication to two really cool friends who happen to be friends of mine too! This rocks!

Mark, you did an outstanding job on this warm and wonderful dedi to your two friends. The blending of colors you used here is very eye catching, and I really like the glow it gives off. It was such a pleasure to read about these two friends, and how their romance began and grew.

You've done it again, Mark; it's an exquisitely beautiful and fitting image for these two dear friends. And I love your gush, you say things the rest of us can only feel--you'd make a fortune as a speechifier!

What a wonderful image for Tara and Bill. You do these SO well, give them such light and color and life; they fairly leap out and touch you. And your dedication is as good as they get. Two people who found each other most amazingly well. Happy Anniversary!!

What a wonderful anniversary dedication to a great couple and you have captured the spreading light and how it can touch so many of us right around the world. It catches us all in its glorious colours and can't help but brighten our day. I love the words you have written too as it really was a fairy tale romance and how wonderful it must be to have two people enjoying the same interests and romance too. Excellent work.

Oh yes how lucky they are to have one of your colourful abstract arts for their dedi. That is what I love about your abstracts that mostly have such a wonderful composition a kaleidoscope of mesmerising colours, beautiful colours, that is what helped me begin to enjoy abstracts. Hope you are feeling well dear Mark, hugs Jane xx

I only know Tara and Bill a little, but it is enough to be struck by their genuineness and kindness, as well as their tremendous talent. Absolutely marvelous dedication. I send my congratulations and best wishes to Tara and Bill, late but exuberant, for many happy years together. Beautiful, very beautiful image. Going from top to bottom, it is a wonderful visual expression of your words. In the top image, in silky smoothness of burgundy something is stirring. Something pretty amazing. When it emerges, light and joy go careening all over the place. But you know me, I like to view your images bottom to top too. When I see the complex and varied light and color in the bottom image, I think of all interactions and connections that Tara and Bill experience together and that they each bring to their relationship. The light of friends, interests, daily experiences and discoveries. In the top image I see the all of those lights becoming a part of them, and being celebrated in a rich and strong union of two souls. Beautiful images and dedication!

This causes me mixed emotions - I adore your wonderful abstracts (they are what drew me to your work in the first place), but at the same time I'm very sad that I missed Tara and Bill's anniversary by a whole month! Ah well, such is life (and huge work loads...). Gorgeous, vibrant, energetic dedi for two gorgeous, vibrant and energetic people.
