Description

...photographed this afternoon through the old window of an antique store in Wallace, Idaho. ...The resulting image reminded me of a photo manipulation but this is a single shot of three stuffed mountain goats on a wall behind a plate glass window reflecting clouds and the local scene behind me. The large white mass in the lower right corner is the back of a bear. Bill:) P.S. My comments will be rather hit and miss for the next few weeks. We are on day two of a five week car trip that will cover 5,000 miles before it is done. I do have my lap top and will be visiting your galleries whenever I can. I'm glad you posted this. I think it was your best one from that series today (although there were more, I know)! It really does look like a photo manip, but I can attest to the fact that it's only one picture. Excellent work!

This is a fantastic shot Bill, very well seen and captured. (At first I thought you were acting the goat or kidding us).

That's a very spiritual image, actually! At first glance, one thinks of a great goat-spirit looking down from the sky. Or maybe I should pack it in and go to bed - it's almost 2:00 AM! A fascinating photo, Bill!

Well seen! It could almost be my uncle's house in Priest Lake, Idaho; he has more stuffed beasts than I've ever seen in my lifetime. What a brilliant capture you've gotten here!

Brilliant idea of focusing on the glass with the sky reflection. Makes for a surreal effect. Or ethereal, perhaps? As previously stated, reminds one of apocalyptic art. Catches the imagination and curiosity "How did he do that?" Great job! Have a good trip and drive carefully! Looking foreward to your next bundle of photos! :-)
