Ditto, Andrea: I LOVE this! It's such a beautiful gift for Tara & Bill. It's one of the nicest paintings you've done, your light & shade on the vases are so touchable, they feel like they're going to jump right out of the painting. And your wonderful brushwork, swirling between your always-rich hues---pure Helle! And that decoration on the wall---it's a decoration, yes, but it acts like the sun! It has yellow around it, and it seems to be a focal point for the piece. Helle, you couldn't have posted a more fitting painting for our friends, it's beautiful & has harmony & beauty under one roof. Happy Anniversary, T&B! And many, many more! May your life together be as beautiful as this painting!

You do such good work in so many different media: fantastic photographs, fantastic drawings, fantastic paintings, and as expected, this is absolutely fantastic! WOW! I agree that this is very touchable and very warm; it's such a perfect gift and dedication and it is such a comfort to see. It's cloudy and gray in Chicago, a little bit this and that, but not the sorts of this and that anybody would want, and so this image is a perfect antidote to that. Marvelous!

Oh Helle! This is just gorgeous. I LOVE your paintings (as you know) and this one is just stunning! The colors leap out at me, the composition is just right, the pots (Oh! Those pots!) are a joy. I would love to have them in my home. The shapes are so pettable! :) What a splendid, beautiful, loving gift, my dear friend. This is a masterpiece!

A beautiful painting, with outstanding colors, Helle. A great dedi it makes. Don't know, but I guess it is acrylic-paint, you can't see the different between oil-paint here. I love the light on this, especially that on the right orange.

I love this too! I am also delighted by the 'touchable' pots. I really like the light and texture of the small blue one. I love the more free abstract brush strokes of the table and background and the more regular ones of the pots. I love the combination of straight and curved lines, the richness and arrangement of the colors, and the patterns and motion of the wall decoration. This is marvelous! Wonderful painting and dedication!
