Description
Sunday we went to the forest with alot of other pensioners. But the weather was so bad, so not many of us wanted to walk there, BUT!!! there was a big old house. Think it was a barn once. Atleast it was that big with benches along the walls and sand on the floor and a BIG open fireplace. Really charming. We were 41 people sitting here eating ROE DEER meat (finally I got revenge) with salad and Mushroom souce and baked potatoes. We had a Alround man, biologist and what ever...to prepare this meat and baked potatoes on the grill. He knew everything about nature and he sorted out the shrooms, people had collected. Well it was mostly chanterels. We sang, ate, laughed, joked and had such fun for 6 hours :-) There were one with a Keyboard, one with a violin and one with an accordion.

Sounds like fun! What an image too! I love picnic shots and it sounds like you had an absolute blast. And there was music! YAY! So you got a chance to eat Roe, huh? Was it your nemesis? I've never had Roe, Deer...I've had caviar, with a similar name. Pretty good, if it's served the right way, otherwise it's too salty. Anyway, I really like this image a lot and now you've got me thinking about barbecue and music and maybe a little something nice to drink: something distilled, maybe, with bison grass in it! Or beer! I like beer. Anyway, this isn't about beer! Or is it!? This is a great shot! Oh, AND there was an accordion and a violin! Yeah! Was there dancing too?
