Description
Captured 4/23/11, early in the morn, within walking distance of where I lay my head at night.
Better detail via ZOOM.
For the connoisseurs of corroding and deteriorating objets d'art, this old timer should bring mountains of joy to the heart. The last word in homey, and one of my favorites among the several dilapidated gate and fence fotos strewn throughout my capacious files.
I increased the contrast to really bring out the flavor in this one.
Arreviderci, thankx for coming by, and for any and all favs and laudatory comments.

The thing that I like best with peeling paint is the exposed textures and patterns. Booth are wonderful captures Harry. Dana

It really is a cornucopia of textures and lines; a wonderfully run-down fence, and even better texture-wise with that lovely stucco next to it. Well captured, Harry!

Where's Tom Sawyer when you need him? The chipped paint makes wonderful patterns. I especially like the closeup on the bottom. Wonderful detail and lines.
