Description
There are some ideas, which, once they appear, don't let go until they are implemented.
A while back I thought that it would be interesting to challenge myself with illustrating an abstract philosophical concept. But since I didn't have a particular concept in mind, other projects kept getting higher priority.
A few days ago a concept presented itself: I remembered a saying -- "as you age, you hear sound of closing doors" (I am translating and paraphrasing). And it was one of those ideas: I had to drop everything and try illustrating it.
Well, I did, and here is the result.
Once again, this is pretty much pure Carrara, but this time I did some heavy messing around with the passes, added color corrections and DOF in Photoshop.

Glad I looked closer at this, its a wonderful concept. From the light wonderment of youth, to to the guy walking through the door at the end. Who can say they truly have no regrets what so ever, but I think there's a certain peace, when you can say I did my best.

I got it without reading your blurb...surperbly done..I cannot find fault with it at all. You do inspire me more then others do, I think it is due to that our artistic backgrounds have a similiar tone.
