Description
This was done for Jack Tomalin's contest over at DCC (at Deviant Art).
It was inspired by Jack's Platinum Club celebration freebie.
Once again I attempted to tell a story, this time through an indexed image. I didn't hammer it in, though, so perhaps it's not as clear as I had hoped.

This is wonderful! I love the richness and colors of the fabrics and the softness of the light. She lives a plush life in a harsh world. She surrounds herself with comfort and softness as she waits and works and studies. And today he comes home and the light shines on her and warmth returns. Very cool work and congrats. All I can think to say is that the number one image must have been something else. This is top notch!!!

This is absolutely superb.The rich textures, the wonderful light, all the minute details you put in this composition! A masterpiece! Interpretation, hum? A lady was expecting her knight to come home after battle,but he never showed up. She could not live without him, all the luxury in her life could not hold her back, so she drowned herself in the lake.:)
