Description

Another little shot from my test drive at the weekend! Apparently its a Sweet chestnut, very like the horse chestnut- aka the conker or horse chestnut - but edible! Just to let folks know, I'll probably not be around much for a week or so as from tomorrow night my house starts to be invaded by Aussie rellos and friends for my daughters Birthday at the weekend and our trip to Oktoberfest next week. Hope you all are well and I'll try to catch up with comments when I get back. Martin

Because I'm weird, the first thing I thought was that this could be the basis for a really interesting, probably highly intelligent alien. I've never seen one of these before and so it's quite a treat! I love the details, especially the spikes and the inner nodule in that rich, reddish brown color. This is superb, and hopefully the impending invasion isn't too much to handle though the Oktoberfest bit sounds like incredible fun.
