Made some Baguettes in class today, There was a bit of contraversy about when to pull it out of the oven, I like it this way, with a light golden color, but the french way is a allot darker and crunchier.

I really like your way better. Maybe if you cook in the US you cook it to please Americans and if you are cooking in Paris, you cook it to please them... :-) This s a marvelously detailed shot and very rich in visual flavor...I'm sure in palatable flavor as well.

Delicious image! I also prefer this lighter color... I can smell the delightful fragrance of freshly baked bread... good cheese... a mug of coffee... YUM!!!
