Description
After a while it all runs together. This was just off I-90 somewhere between the Little Bighorn and the Badlands.
Near a rest stop, I think.
You should be able to find it with those directions! LOL!

Oh, yes,yes, I KNOW this place! You turn left at the Taco Bell... Actually, I've never been to either of the Dakotas. I have been through the Texas Panhandle and New Mexico, however, so I get the gist. This is a gorgeous shot, and so evocative of that part of the country, and America itself. All that wide open space! Are those part of the Black Hills in the background? Love this shot! Happy(belated) anniversary! Looking forward to seeing you guys soon.

You captured the classic Aermotor windmill...one of the most popular farm windmills ever made. I just read that 2011 is the 156th Anniversary of the first commercially successful, self-controlled windmill in America. Oh...about the photography:) A beautiful, downhome piece of Americana.

What an astounding shot! This is really fantastically super! I love the colors, the openness, the absolute heaviosity of that pseudo-sky: or is it the sky...I suspect it's land kinda going up in a hilly bit, the flatness of the foreground land is such a contrast to the grayness (well, I'm tired if flat land, I want bumpy land, with snow way up on top, or at least a forest sloping down like a tired amoeba letting gravity do its job...but anyway...) What an image! This is really superior work. And as for the directions you gave: yep...they're as clear as crystal. Who needs GPS with directions like that? This is gorgeous!
