Really nice image! As I don't have the necessary equipment (or patience) for astrophotography, I really enjoy seeing other people's examples. It's funny, I've managed to do stuff like this using Photoshop or the Gimp, but I have to say that actual astrophotos have so much of their own appeal, both aesthetically and in more scientific ways. This is great.

@tommorules- Actually, I'm incorrect - I gave that description from memory. Doing some digging around, I found the data: Shot with Pentax *ist Ds DSLR (DSLR I had before the Canon). Single exposure, 30 seconds with ISO set at 1600 — unguided using just a stable tripod — no stacking. 14 mm lens.
