Taken at the Schmidt/McDonald farm house 2 miles from the Trinity test site (ground zero).

The farmhouse was used for the final assembly of the plutonium bomb. The "clean room" was just a bare room with work benches and tables, with the windows and door sealed with tape — entry was through another room and exterior door — its door had the hand painted warning to use the other door! House survived the blast as it was in a shallow valley — the shock wave went above it.
