Description

I remember the day I took this foto. I was on the way down to SF and decided to detour along Ocean Beach. It was nearly sunset, and the sky was so gorgeous there was no way I couldn't stop. It was completely dark by the time I left; but worth every stumbling step back to my truck.

Love the lines of waves coming in; sunset on the east coast at the beach is nothing like it is on the west coast!

This reminds me of the opening montage to the original "Hawaii Five-O",(haven't seen the remake)somewhere between the dancing girl in the red sequins and the fish-eye close-up on the inside of the jet engine...da ta da ta da daa, da ta da ta da, doooo doooo dooo da dooooo... Great atmospheric you-are-there shot. Love this.

What a gorgeous shot! A beachzz beach shot! How perfect! I love the nice, warm colors, and I'm drawn to the squiggles of sea foam along the bottom of the photo. They make me think of glyphs in some marine language, and I'm tempted to try to read them, or guess what the sea was thinking as it wrote them! I'm weird like that. This is an amazing photo! Most gorgeous!

Beautiful Marilyn. It looks like a poster I had in the early 70s titled 'The Endless Summer'. I am glad you stopped!
