Description
Hi there folks, back again....at last, this time i have had no phone line since the 23rd (due to a problem at the exchange apparantly )..and finally it came back on about 4.00pm this afternoon...not bad considering they said it was going to be the 28th before it was fixed !!!! .So no broadband.
And apparantly if i ring India ( where the call centre is, strange as i am in the Uk )i can then apply for compensation for loss of any income or no line for calls....tried that, after 21.35 minutes, the very helpfull person there just asked me if i wanted BT Broadband !!
Go figure, and also apparantly the BT repair people don't work weekends...wonder what happens if a hospital or Police/Fire Brigade call centre looses their phone line ?
Me, nah, i'm not bitter...MUCH !!

You are right to be bitter and to wonder about hospital and police, I think they must have 2 lines and at least cellular phones ... Anyway seems you have occupied your time with Bryce and made a cool scifi scene :-)

MUCH! lol wow...but I feel your aggression, happens here all to often. Every time our electric goes out due to something the company is at fault for I ask if I can get that allotted time taken off my bill? But they never do...so darn aggravating. Don't you just love having to call someone 3,000 + miles away for your problem...not to mention the inconvenience. Glad you're back and this is pretty awesome Ian! Quite the interesting system you've created here. Excellent lighting. Love the super craggy mountains.

Excellent work. Great terrain and the sense of size is excellent. Looks great at full screen. Sound like you need a new phone service. And if you call about anything from any country, I believe someone in India is going to answer ;) No offense to anyone in India, just saying.

Great image Ian love those sauces remind me of independent day movie.. As for call centres being in India or some other overseas country that really rattles my chain too oh boy!! and what is worse is when you talk to someone that cant can't speak English or has a broad Indian or other nationality accent so you can't under stand them grrr..

This really is stunning, yeah we had a similar problem not that long ago. the frustrating thing was that if you rang in the numbers sounded fine to the caller. of course they were frustrated in us never picking up LOL.

I am so tempted to burst into a full scale rant about people unemployed here, phoning India etc etc.. The E.U. stupid rules, cutting working hours (even if you don't want them cut!!!), human rights (allows released terrorists to stay in the UK, even though they tried to blow people up here! I mean why are frigging well released anyway!!!!) But I won't.... Oooops! Sorry mate.. I just did ;-) You know I love you Sci-Fi work, I always have thought they rocked big time.. And this is epic!
