Description

`I know what you're thinking about,' said Tweedledum: `but it isn't so, nohow.' `Contrariwise,' continued Tweedledee, `if it was so, it might be; and if it were so, it would be; but as it isn't, it ain't. That's logic.' ~Lewis Carroll~ It takes the curve of a bumper to to make Jock's 6 1/2 foot frame look anything like Tweedledum. It's easier for me to become Tweedledee. This was taken at a car show in Lake Charles, La. You can see more images from it in Jock's gallery here I had a great time that day, first going to the gallery where Jock's paintings were being exhibited (I bought the one that you can see here YEAH!!!)and then we went to the car show being held in the field right next to the gallery. It was a great time! I wanted to post an image from that day before going back to my images from England. I've decided to keep my comments open and post every other day. I'll be trying to get to the galleries I visit regularly at least biweekly. If I don't, then I may stop posting for a few days until I catch up. Thanks for viewing and for previous comments and favs!

"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked. "Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad." "How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice. "You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here." I'm beginning to understand what the Cat meant. Curiouser and curiouser!

First of all Lucinda let me say how much I love the title, and what a clever idea this was to play with the reflections. Let me get it out of the way and say that it is a cool old truck, but the focal point of the image is of course you and Jock. It sounds like you had a wonderful time there at the gallery, and I only wish it was closer so I too could have gone.

Fantastic POV employed in the pic of the old 1950's Chevy, Lucinda! Was it parked up on a hill? Love the reflections in the super shiny chrome. Auto shows are fun and educational, or else I wouldn't have thousands of photos from those events stored in my voluminous files. Gotta start posting them again.
