You might spot me at Kirra Beach, the South-Eastern end of the Gold Coast, Australia,  if you like beach walking like myself... but there is more ! My son Jeff (*jif3d*, here at Rendo, it helps to advertise, ooops)... he took this pic of me in 2000, then manipulated it in photo-shop and it's still one of my favourites. Just very briefly about my past... *born in East Prussia; *grew up in Berlin, West Germany; *migrated to "OZ" in 1960, (not the Wizard of Oz) but...AUSTRALIA ! I guess  I was more into '2D' since early childhood, and thinking that my son Jeff may have inherited some of my artistic skills, because he translated them into '3D'. I am hooked on photography, since I discovered cameras... that's it in a nutshell. BTW - one of my fav.quotes.... ** I cannot give you the formula for success, but I can give you the formula for failure - which is trying to please everybody !**                                              that's a wrap... Cheers Brigitte.

It's amazing you could save that much from the fire at Old Al's place, the damage there was quite extensive, lucky he had good insurance ! This is definitely the koolest wall paper I've ever seen ! Timely rescue and thanx for the share ! ~Cheers~

I have always loved Deco/Nouveau art. Many years ago I worked in a art store that had a ornate pressed tin ceiling from the 20s. In a rushed effort to make a profit from the space everyone was made to move and the building demolished.Nothing was saved. Great job saving something that must have brought happiness to people for many years and will continue to do so thanks to your efforts.

My sister has always been a drama queen. My mother used to call her 'Sarah Heartburn' so that panel would be my emotional favorite. I like them all but if I had to choose I'd go with the lower right. Their condition is amazing. Thanks for sharing these with us.

These are real Art Deco/Art Nouveau beauties, Brigitte. Okay, I like them all, but my favorites are # 1 ~Lithographies, Originales~ # 2 ~Bieres de la Meuse~ and #5 ~Sarah Bernhardt. I don't know the exact material they were printed on, but I wonder if they could withstand the hazard of being unwrinkled with a warm flat iron? Covered with a towel, of course.

They look so lovely in this collage and as for having a fav. it is impossible as they all look so great. I think these were a great find, and I am so pleased that you are sharing them with us.

I am so happy for you, that you could rescue this 'Art Deco'. I enjoy this with you, and am excited about the appearance from all shown here. Mid-below could be you, Brigitchen ;-). But how about a tap-dance in the Moulin Rouge? Stunning beauties this are. Thank you so much for sharing, dear Sis!
