You might spot me at Kirra Beach, the South-Eastern end of the Gold Coast, Australia, if you like beach walking like myself... but there is more ! My son Jeff (*jif3d*, here at Rendo, it helps to advertise, ooops)... he took this pic of me in 2000, then manipulated it in photo-shop and it's still one of my favourites. Just very briefly about my past... *born in East Prussia; *grew up in Berlin, West Germany; *migrated to "OZ" in 1960, (not the Wizard of Oz) but...AUSTRALIA ! I guess I was more into '2D' since early childhood, and thinking that my son Jeff may have inherited some of my artistic skills, because he translated them into '3D'. I am hooked on photography, since I discovered cameras... that's it in a nutshell. BTW - one of my fav.quotes.... ** I cannot give you the formula for success, but I can give you the formula for failure - which is trying to please everybody !** that's a wrap... Cheers Brigitte.

Nice digi-fiddling!

You diggi-fiddled great art, out of a stunning capture of his own. The special forms that have arisen in the glass are very artistic, the colors are so pretty to me. And what is the butterfly well defined, with his antennae and his eye. I think you had much fun by doing your digi-fiddle, dear Sis. Hugs are going to down under ♥

Beautiful!

I bet this butterfly was looking for the sugar cubes with a drop of Angostura Bitters, so he could sip on some pink champagne while admiring this rather special glass house ! Actually, it would be kool to see what he see's, which is prolly something much like this creative capture ! Neat work BB & ~Cheers~

People in glass houses shouldn't be stoned? Great job with the filtersand an excellent shot. I like it when people don't realize that a picture has been improved

FABULOUS IMAGE!

Outstanding clarity, refractions and textures in this perfectly postworked pic, Brigitte! Kind of reminds me of the wasp/yellow jacket trap that I just purchased. The instructions say to wait until Spring before using it.

A wonderful image with great post work. Amazing that he went inside. I will look forward to seeing the rest of those old pictures, as they were facinating.

Cool find/shot!

Fantastic capture and post work. The butterfly looks like it was just caught with its hand(?) in the cookie jar. As for the Art Deco project, a pox on all of them! Perhaps one per week for the rest of us?

Wonderful capture and postwork! Beautiful composition, textures, and light. I love the sharply defined edges and the imperfections in the glass, brought out by your postwork. I like the circles in the bottom of the glass and the face of a sailor in the top left corner. (The shaggy hair blowing fiercely, and rough-hewn face, just say sailor to me.) The butterfly looks like he is smiling. The sugar must have been good. I like the white veins on his wings. Excellent image!
