Description

Canna leaf, captured 10/1/09, early in the morning, within the sometimes congenial confines of my condominium complex. Don't cheat yourself - super detail viewed via ZOOM. Since I have oodles of similar pics from that particular photo shoot, I was tempted to include this in a collage, but it just screamed stand alone at me, so I relented and backed off, because it really does deserve a posting all by itself. The H2O drops are from a hose watering by one of the residents, and not from rain. Toodles, thankx for the look-see, and for any and all favs and laudatory comments.

Beautifully captured, Harry; I love the myriad sizes of the drops, from ginormous to eensy weensy...they almost look like quicksilver!

The drops look superb in zoom and it is a super capture. I agree this one really does show the detail going solo and not in a collage.

Love the "rain" drop look - even if manmade. An extreme array of sizes Harry and that big drop is just hanging near the edge. Great catch! Dana

Excellent shot ! If you don't mind I'm going to use this picture in a PowerPoint presentation about my work on coatings with such a "Lotus effect"...

Spectacular viewing Harry - those drops are mesmerising ... definitely a standout on it's own - not to be shared with any others in a collage, you could almost think, it's a design for a Diamond brooch, lovely indeed, BB

Beautiful drops! I love the lines and rippled surface of the leaf too. Most definitely deserves a solo spot. Excellent capture!
