My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

That is an awesome sign. Hope you are having a great time. We visited Chicago in 1986, and was impressed with whatever we saw, it was rainy and very muggy, but we had fun.

Obviously you are in New York City about to see the play Chicago...or not. Very cool image. I took a bus from Madison to O'Hare airport a long, long time ago but I've never actually been to Chicago. I'll have to put that on my bucket list.

I was too busy talking to you and looking out of your window to comment on this photo as you showed it to me on your laptop...in front of that window. WOW! This is such a fantastic shot and I can taste hints of Pecan Sandies...those cookies taste so much better with the right company. Of course, this was on the night of your arrival and so there was chicken with pomegranate and walnut sauce involved and though that is already an amazing dish, I had no idea it went so well with Sangria with fresh apple bits in it. WOW! That was the start of a fantastic, superb weekend, and Corey and I are still talking about it! I love this particular view! It's got zots! This rocks! What memories too! It was so much fun, and there's so much more to come down the road. I have yet to see Seattle and I know I'm gonna love that...I'm quite keen on seeing a city with lots of slanted bits.
