Many years ago I grabbed hold of a tree branch and it grabbed back. I yelped and stared at my fingers as a row of white bumps surfaced. I've been very careful of caterpillars ever since. Of course, looking at it from the other side, the caterpillar was moseying along, minding its own business, and a great big pink thing plopped down on top of him. I guess I can understand his attitude. Lovely fuzzy guy. Great capture and title.
