Description

This is a photocomposition of several shots made in Bliesbrück Reinheim, an archeological park on the borderline between France and Germany. Several years ago, they found the sepulture of a celtic princess buried with her jewels and several objects needed for her last journey. The jewels were perfectily preserved as well as some pots and a pitcher. As you can see, celtic jewelers were very skillful to create beautiful necklaces. In the background of my composition, you can see the reconstruction of a celtic burial mound, as the one where archeologists found the princess of Bliesbrück Reinheim. Just for the fun : this necklace was the masterpiece of an exhibition in Germany and it was forbidden to capture it. The photography in Bliesbrück was authorised... Have a great sunday !

Great composition. I like the way you showed the detailing and the entire torc. I assume a guard dog statue really was part of the original burial. Thank you for sharing.

This is a wonderful compilation Virginia, what a clever idea and I like how you have the recreation of the Celtic burial ground in the background
