Description
Nar'zekfryn stands swords crossed in front of him, awaiting Shandaras approach. "I am alone." he calls to her, as she slips through the shadows towards him. Shandara sensing no others near by, finally leaves the shadows to stand 20 feet in front of the young drow warrior. "You have come to challenge me alone?" Shandara asks. "No." the male replies. "So you are not alone?" Shandara continues. "No, I am alone."..."But I have not come to fight." the drow warrior replies. "Then why are you here?" Shandara asks, starting to grow annoyed with the riddles. "I have come to defect." Nar'zekfryn states, with calm determination. "Defect?" Shandara asks. Of all the possible things he could have told her, that was by far the last thing she ever expected. "Defect?" Shandara repeated, after a long silence. "Yes."..."You may kill me if you must." Nar'zekfryn states, as he throws his scimitars to the ground at Shandaras feet. "But I will not return to the evil ways of our people." He continues. Shandara considers his statement and all the possibilities it might hold and finally speaks. "Mara." Shandara softly whispers. Nar'zekfryn is shocked to see a drow mage appear out of thin air, only a foot away from her sister. "Why am I here?" Mara asks, staring at the drow male and then to his scimitars at Shandaras feet. "We have a situation." Shandara replies. "And what might that be?" Mara continues. "He wishes to defect" Shandara states. Mara stares long and hard at the drow male before answering. What kind of BS is this? "..."You have his weapons, just kill him" Mara replies. "I can't." Shandara states." "I can." Mara replies as she raises her hand in the the males direction. "NO" Shandara yells, halting Maras actions in mid casting. "What if he is telling the truth?"..."What if they had just killed us, instead of giving us a chance to prove ourselves?" Shandara pleads. Mara looks at the male, then back to her sister. After a long pause she finally speaks. "Bind him." Mara orders. After securing the males hands behind his back and retrieving his scimitars, Shandara leads him to stand by Mara. "You may have noticed my sister is not so enthusiastic about this situation."..."I suggest you do not cross her." Shandara tells Nar'zekfryn once they are near. "Take us home." Shandara instructs. Mara smiles and touches both of their arms and the three dissappear, on the wings of a teleport spell. To be continued...
I'm still working on the hue and saturation effects for the converted skin textures. I promise they will get better. Enjoy, -Arakas

Ah, what a handsome Drow male!! He looks ready for combat, but relaxed at the moment... I love the story that goes with this piece!!! Yes, I like to think that other Drow, other than Drizzt, broke away from their evil race!!

An interesting development, and a very nice render. This is a handsome character already. Can't wait to see what you do with him.
