Description

Taken last Sunday in Chicago while out and about with Bill, Tara, Corey and Chip (bmac62, auntietk, coreyblack & chipka) They were rather polite for protestors, narry a one walked into or over me as I stood my ground photographing them. Thanks for looking and your comments.

It's nice not to get stepped on! That's one of the true hallmarks of civilization I think.

cool shot... I hope this is the beginning of some higher awareness, for more integrity in this political, dishonest climate we have in today's world..... this may be the start to ending the big and oh so very greedy Oligarchy's, that have been running all of our affairs, and sucking the wealth out of this great country, in the last few years.

I am SO glad you got this! I tried for the same shot only I got protester-shaped blurs! Funny how that works. **Note to self: stand still when photographing! I really love the angle of this and the black and white gives such a nice historical vibe, though I'm curious about the actual meaning of the V For Vendetta mask the guy on the right is wearing. Ah...maybe it's just a protest thing. That was such a great weekend! Such a cool shot! It's so perfectly in the moment.

That was the most cheerful bunch of protesters I've ever had the pleasure to encounter! I'm still not sure what outcome they were advocating, but they were a lot of fun, nonetheless. GREAT capture!

I think the general message, as it is elsewhere, is to stop the endless corporate plundering of the people. I applaud their action and will join in when it gets here!

Ahhhhhh, I didn't get this shot...you know...you spin to take the perfect shot and your camera is in the 'off' position...by the time you recover, the right moment is gone! Looking at this carefully, I see a sign about firing nurses. If these are nurses protesting the elimination of positions I fully understand what was going on. After all...you wouldn't expect nurses to be knocking over spectators would you? ;-) One very cool shot Yvonne!
