Description

Been under the weather the last few days, have not the strength to make the rounds. Taken at Point Reyes National Seashore, North beach. Fiddled with it a bit in PS5, it was so redish in color. Not found of watermarks in the frame either and so tried the digimarc on this image! To the kind souls that leave their mark whether a comment, rating, or save the image as a fav, you are very much appreciated, thank you!!! Thank you all that viewed my last image below. thumb_2253981.jpg

wow--at first I thought this was an impressionistic painting. This is so gorgeous--the colors are so wonderful--your nature muse is catching!

I gotta say that I agree...most watermarks you see are ridiculous and totally useless. But the problem with digimarc is YUCKY MOSQUITO NOISE! I'd stay right away from it. It's one of the quickest and easiest ways to ruin your photos. If you want to protect your image, the best way is not to post it online! Failing that, posting it low res at least prevents someone from making a large print out of it. If your image is good enough, clients will still pay for a high res version. The DOF and POV are great. I feel your problems stemmed from shooting with an ISO of 3200. This should only ever be used as a last resort, and never with this much light available. It makes everything too noisy.

I think if one wants to share something then why ruin it by plastering your name all over it.I have seen these plants somewhere but do not recall where.quite beautiful and hope you recover quickly or before

Interesting choice to feature the ice plant with the background somewhat out of focus. It works very well. I've never seen this plant look more lovely. Take care of yourself, Dana. I know from experience that things can turn ugly very quickly.

Had one of my images stolen off my Web site recently and spread all over the place in various blogs and Websites. Took the trouble to complain to each site administrator and got them removed. Now I watermark them on the Website, but it's a hassle, and really degrades the look of the site. I'm tempted to pay for the Digimarc...used to have it. This is a fantastic image, and you have done an excellent POV for it.
