Description

Good evening all together! Thanks for your great interest in my last pic here, your lots of comments and the four favorites. It feels good - again and again, when it happens. This pic here is nothing special, only a little unusual camera perspective. The driver of the tram made great eyes, and I had to watch out for the other track. Good moment to loose your camera (LOL) The place is the Alexander Plaza, the most important place of the former East Berlin. An ugly, faceless place with boring houses and without any structure. Today its a pedestrian zone with a tram in the middle... Once, that means the roaring twenties of the last century, it was a very busy place, one of the main places in Berlin. The Berlin police Headquarter was here with all its sections, lots of cars and different busses and trams, and german poet and writer Alfred Doeblin wrote his bestseller "Berlin Alexanderplatz" This is all gone.... Pic was taken in August 2008 with Nikon Coolpix 8700, my little bridge camera. Please enjoy! Feel free to send some comments, both directions, they are all welcome.
