Description

At the Egyptian's house: "I heared Martinus was lookin ta sell 'is old ship. Got hisself a new one comin fer next season. It's in...." "I ain't lookin to replace it," Azdrubaal interupted Solomon. "Ye know what's comin don't ye? I want out of here, and soon. Me an' a couple o' friends. Yer welcome ta come with us if ya like, but in any case I want ye ta take us whether y'stay or not." The Pilot gripped the Egyptian's arm, "Yer a fair-dealin man Solomon, an' the best captain I ever had...both hard ta come by these days." "Why thank ye, Pilot. Nice ta be apreciated. Aye, I know all too well...bein an Egyptian. Ever'one wants Egypt. Tis most o' why I left. Where would ye go?" "Rabat." Solomon appeared to like that idea. Azdrubaal added a sweetener to the pot. "Take us there an' I'll sign the ship over to ye. How much is my cut from the last run?" The Egyptian told him and Azdrubaal did a few mental calculations. "Ye can keep a third of it fer yer troubles and hirin a crew. I want a minimal crew -an' do me the favor of tryin ta get back the better ones we had this last trip. Ye know who they are. There's our stashes ta consider - that is if ye decide ta pick up and leave with us." "Aye, I don't know bout you but I got a fair sum. How'll we take it?" "Divie it up. Crate it wi' yer goods so's no one crate's over-heavy." "Ye quittin the business then?" The Egyptian pulled at his chin, looking around his place. He was considering it. "Aye, I am. It's all yours if ye do this for me." "She must be somethin...that woman, ta make ye give up the sea," Solomon winked. From what he'd heard so far and Azdrubaal being in the market with a woman, he'd put two and two together. He threw up his hands. "I aint pryin Pilot. I know better. Just sayin." "She is," was all he'd say. "I'll be gone in the mornin, but I'll see ye again soon. Get us some crates an' such. I'm trustin ye like I never trusted another man, Solomon. Don't let me down," a brow cocked meaningfully, "an' I'll make it well worth yer while." They gripped hands on it. "It's a deal," the Egyptian grinned. ***** Background/forground is a collage, except for the table (Poser prop). Solomon (the Egyptian) is a Poser figure by me. PS: Thanks for being a good sport on the last one...you know who you are ;D I just had to have some fun with it. ***** Thanks for coming by and hey! it's Friday! Have a great weekend my dears!! Great image and excellent story. Like the setting and lighting and good posing. One picky thing, their index fingers got intermeshed. I like where the story is going.
