OMPh, the colours that you've captured here are dazzling. And the clouds wraping themselves around the mountains as the sun goes down and the air chills is powerful and dramatic.

Love the colors and composition! I have vowed to get back to oil painting now that I've redone the spare room and can work there. The first things I am going to paint are sunsets and sunrises with silhouettes just so I can explore the more vivids colors such as you show here!

You always capture the most amazing and lively colors and this is no exception; I love the cool blues and the warmer hues all dancing around the nice silhouettes. So many great cloud and sky textures. I especially like that cloud band going across the distant mountain; it's nice and dark against the lighter sky and nice and light against the darker mountain...this whole shot is magical, and when I looked at the thumbnail, I was tempted to think that the little bit of wood (a tilted piling?) could have been a cousin to the Loch Ness Monster. What's not to like about that? This is really great work.
